MINISTRY OF TRADE AND INDUSTRY CDM ACHIEVEMENTS: TRAINING IN DATA MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE

A two week training was held at the Civil Service Training Centre to train fifteen (15) staff in Basic Microsoft Access, Intermediate Microsoft Excel, EUROTRACE and COMEXT software. After the workshop a database comprising trade Statistic (Import/Export) from 2000 – 2014 was uploaded on computers for staff who participated in the workshop.

MINISTRY OF TRADE AND INDUSTRY CDM ACHIEVEMENTS: SENSITIZATION OF MOTI STAFF

To inform staff on the CDM project and win their support for the project implementation, the team undertook a sensitization workshop. In all over 200 staff were sensitized about the project.

MINISTRY OF TRADE AND INDUSTRY CDM ACHIEVEMENTS: WIDE AREA NETWORK

The system has been installed in 5 regional offices of the Ministry. The regions are Volta, Brong-Ahafo, Western, Northern   and Upper West. Equipment installed in the regions includes Switches, Radio Link and UPS. Also a desktop computer and a printer have been provided to all the five regions.
